Thanks to you- the Student Support Committee had another strong year of certificates of appreciation orders! We are pleased that so many people took the opportunity to recognize school staff in such a supportive manner. We’re excited for the Transition Academy students to deliver so many certificates and chocolates throughout the District, and we’re looking forward to giving back to the community by using the money earned to fund innovative grants that support all students in the District. Once again, this program is a win-win-win!
Program Overview: The holidays are the perfect time to express appreciation for the special people in our lives. Your Student Support Committee (SSC) is pleased to make it easy for you to do just that. For a $10 donation to SSC, we will create and deliver a festive Certificate of Appreciation to any teacher, therapist, administrator or staff member in the Mamaroneck Union Free School District that you choose. Recipients also receive a delicious treat from gourmet chocolate shop Chocolations.
While you get to show appreciation to your teachers and staff, the students in the Mamaroneck High School Transition Academy have the opportunity to practice important vocational skills by printing, sorting, packaging and delivering the certificates. It is a gift with impact!
Participants can order as many certificates as they like, and all donations fund our grants initiative, bringing innovative programs to all students in the district.
