To help support the teaching and learning process, the Student Support Committee proudly offers MUFSD teachers, therapists, specialists and administrators grants of up to $1000 each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For an overview of the grants process and more details, click on this <a href=\"https:\/\/mamkschoolspta.org\/ssc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Overviewgrants-25-26.docx\">link.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Projects, Programs and Resources Supported<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grants are awarded for innovative and novel programs, equipment or pilot projects that support the educational experience for students with varied learning, physical, cognitive, social and emotional abilities. Grants may be awarded for an individual classroom or for a project that benefits a range of classrooms and ages. The grants should address students\u2019 diverse needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Funds are awarded based on the extent to which the proposed project:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Directly and positively impacts students<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supports an innovative or novel idea to enhance instruction or enrich the learning environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enhances the professional\u2019s ability to provide differentiated instruction<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Relates to curriculum<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Represents a collaboration among educators<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, in <strong>2025\u20132026<\/strong>, the Student Support Committee funded <strong>12 projects<\/strong> across the district. These grants support initiatives that enhance learning environments, promote social-emotional development, and provide specialized tools for diverse learners. Projects include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>High-quality headphones with microphones to support <strong>third grade Special Education and ENL students<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Montessori experiences<\/strong> in a self-contained classroom<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A green space initiative<\/strong> to promote outdoor learning and connection with nature<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Adaptive fitness experiences<\/strong> to support inclusive physical activity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Puppy yoga<\/strong> to promote wellness and emotional regulation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Standing desks<\/strong> to support flexible learning environments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>Transition Academy Holiday Boutique Pop-Up<\/strong> to support life skills and vocational experiences<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Recess equipment<\/strong> to promote active play and social development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sensory learning materials<\/strong> to support Pre-K exploration in special areas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>STEM bins<\/strong> designed to foster collaboration and social development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>Social Express counseling curriculum<\/strong> to support social-emotional learning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Executive functioning tools<\/strong> to help students build independence and organizational skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information about some of the Student Support Committee\u2019s inspiring grants for the 2025-26 school year, click on this <a href=\"https:\/\/mamkschoolspta.org\/ssc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/2025-26-SSC-Grant-Summary.docx\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/mamkschoolspta.org\/ssc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/2023-24-SSC-Grant-Summary.pdf\">link<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All grant applicants must be MUFSD teachers, therapists, specialists or administrators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Grant Process and Application for MUFSD Teachers, Therapists, Specialists and Administrators<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We hope you\u2019ll take this opportunity to think about how a Student Support Committee grant could benefit your students.
