The Mamaroneck Schools Foundation (MSF) announces the return of the Student Grant Program for the 2020-2021 school year!
MSF invites current 10th-12th graders to put your thinking caps on and apply for a grant award to be put to use this school year. We know MHS students are big thinkers and entrepreneurs, and this program offers a great opportunity for you to make your mark on MHS and expand learning opportunities for all students. What program, tool, or experience would you like to see MHS offer students?
Don’t miss out! *Applications are due October 23, 2020* The guidelines and application are now available online HERE. If you are interested in applying for a grant, please reach out to our Student Grant faculty liaison, Mike Sammartano, who is available to talk through ideas and will partner students with faculty sponsors, (a requirement for each application.)
Here are some criteria the selection committee hopes to see from students. Ideas that:
- Are innovative and complement existing district programs
- Can impact a large number of students
- Can feasibly be completed within the 2020-21 school year
Some examples of past Student Grants:
- Performing Arts Audition Master Classes
- Enhancing Photography Experience: A New Photo Studio
- Mamaroneck Aeronautics and Rocketry Society
- Community Outreach through Lacrosse
We look forward to another year of fantastic ideas from our students! Any questions about the program please reach out to us at MSFoundation@mamkschools.org. To see the important support that MSF provides our schools, or to get involved, visit our websit
