This is the final fundraiser for the long anticipated playground addition. Let’s make every donation count and bring our playground vision to life!

Get ready, because the 2024 MAS Fun Run is here! This is our last school-wide fundraiser of the year, and it’s our final push to reach our goal and complete the playground addition. Our target for the Fun Run is $25,000. If we achieve this goal, we’ll celebrate with a school-wide pizza party for students and staff.

Every registration counts! While registration isn’t required for the MAS Fun Run, it could earn students an ice-pop celebration at the end of the run if we reach 60% student registration. Donation is not mandatory with registration, but it’s a super easy way to spread the word through your social media and email contacts about our fundraiser and gets your student a cool promo video (with photo upload) by Dude Perfect! Plus, classrooms that complete registration the fastest will be rewarded, along with their teachers and students.

Here are a few reminders before your student(s) participate in the big event:
😴Have your student(s) get a good night’s rest. Our event will be about 30 minutes of movement.
👟Make sure your student(s) wear appropriate foot and clothing attire to move and groove.
💧Don’t forget to pack a water bottle for your student for hydration during the run.

Fun Run Event Day Information

May 17th is the date of Fun Run Celebration🎉. Come cheer for our students as they showcase their incredible determination and character development over the prior 10 days. Please visit the volunteer sign up page to help us with the event!

Fun Run times for the grades are as follow:

This year, you don’t need to sign in at the main entrance security desk if you plan to stay on the Upper playground. However, if you need to enter the building for any reason, you MUST go to the main entrance and sign in.

For grades and classes with the 2:00pm-2:45pm schedule, everyone MUST clear the Upper playground after the celebration. The gates will reopen at 3:00pm for dismissal.

Character Theme: The character building theme for this year is WORLD CHANGER (WORKSHOP). Starting May 9th, students will discover one message per day on steps in Making a Difference, and we’ll unveil the videos here as well.

What is the MAS FUN RUN?

Each year, the PTA organizes a fundraiser focused on building character traits in our students, which unfolds over a week-long period. The week culminates in a grand finale “fun run” celebration where family members are invited to cheer on the students. This fundraiser is crucial for supporting long-term school goals. This year’s fun run is especially significant as it marks the final push to raise funds needed to start the long-anticipated construction of the playground addition.

How does the MAS FUN RUN fundraiser work?

Register Your Student(s): Begin by registering your student(s) at MyBooster.com for the MAS Fun Run fundraiser.

Share and Promote: Once registered, share your student’s video and/or fundraising link with friends and family, and promote them on your social media.

Rewards for Students: As your student receives donations, they earn rewards. Additionally, their classrooms compete for classroom-level rewards based on fundraising achievements.

School-wide Rewards: If the fundraiser reaches its target goal of $25,000 or achieves a registration goal of 60% of the student body, all students win school-wide rewards.

Company Matching: This fundraiser qualifies for company-matching of nonprofit donations. Check with your company’s HR department to see if they offer matching donations.

Can I make a donation if I don’t want to pay online?

Yes! You can turn in your donation to the PTA Inbox located in the MAS Main Office. Please place the donation in an envelope and label it with ‘Fun Run Donation,’ including the student and teacher’s name. If paying by check, please make it payable to ‘Mamaroneck Avenue School PTA’.

Where can I get some help with registation?

Can my student register without me creating an account?

Yes, if you prefer to register your student without creating an account on MyBooster.com, please use this form. Select ‘Other’ and provide your student’s first and last name, grade, and their homeroom teacher’s name in the comment field.

Can I add a personal message on the Donate Now page?

Yes, you may change the “Our Cause” message for your student, along with the My Goal amount. Log into your MyBooster.com account and click on the edit (pencil) icon next to your student’s name on the dashboard. Scroll down to Donation Page Message to change content.

I can’t find my student’s teacher’s name on the teacher list. Where can I get some help?

The teacher picklist is based on the assigned teacher at the beginning of the school year. However, the assigned teacher may be on an extended leave. If you can’t recall the initial teacher’s name, please check with the current teacher. If you need additional help, please use this form. Select ‘Other’ and send us a message.

My student has two teachers. Which teacher do I pick?

If your student is in Dos Caminos for grades 3 to 5, then one of the two teachers is their homeroom teacher. If you or your student are uncertain about who the homeroom teacher is, please check directly with the teacher. If your student is in a co-taught class, the names of both teachers will be listed together in the teacher picklist. If you need additional help, please use this form. Select ‘Other’ and send us a message.

Where can I find this year’s Prize/Reward listing?

Once registered on MyBooster.com, there’s ‘View Rewards’ located right under your student’s donation progess bar.
