Get to know Dash and some of his friends, while coding with your friends. The Chatsworth RoboBuddies Club is offered to students in grades 1-3 once a week during lunch and recess.
Dash is an exciting learning tool, targeted at teaching robotics through creative problem solving and computational thinking. Using Blockly, a drag and drop coding language, students will make Dash dances, play music, solve problems and much more!
The 3rd grade club will begin with Dash robots and progressively work their way to complete sophisticated challenges before moving on to the advanced LEGO Mindstorm EV3 Robotic platform. This is a great introduction to the EV3 platform for students interested in participate in the FIRST LEGO League, an annual international robotics and scientific problem solving competition. Our club will develop introductory EV3 building and programming skills.
