Honoring Juneteenth
June 22, 2024 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Our outdoor celebration will feature Westchester County Poet Laureate, Phylisha Villanueva, who will read some of her work, which focuses on identity, colorism, Black culture, and mysticism. For our younger attendees, there will be a read aloud of a celebrated children’s book about Juneteenth and an engaging craft to accompany the story. Sweet treats will also be served.
