A Comeback to Cursive Handwriting Class (Grades 3–5)
Cursive is making a comeback! In this fun class for grades 3–5, students will unplug from screens, learn the art of cursive writing, build confidence, and even get creative with doodle art. Presented by The Center for Continuing Education.
Wednesdays, Oct. 8 – Nov. 5, 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Studies show that learning cursive can boost cognitive development, strengthen reading skills, build self-confidence, and even enhance creativity and critical thinking—especially in elementary school students.
In this fun and engaging class, students will learn the fundamental techniques of cursive handwriting while developing their own personal style. As they practice, they’ll become more thoughtful writers and more focused thinkers. We’ll even get creative with some cursive-inspired doodle art!
Designed for students in grades 3–5, this class welcomes both beginners and those looking to sharpen their penmanship. So ditch the keyboard, unplug from the screen, and discover the joy of writing by hand!
