How to Run for The Board of Education

 

If you are interested in running for the Board of Education please contact the District Clerk, Joanne Rice at jrice@mamkschools.org or at 914-220-3007, to obtain a copy of the petition.  All petitions are due to the District Clerk by April 18, 2022.

Based on Mamaroneck UFSD Policy 2120, in order to run for the Board of Education you must be able to read and write, be a qualified voter of the district, and a resident of the school district for at least one year prior to the elections.  Additionally if you are an employee of the District you are unable to run for a seat on the Board of Education.
