NEW DATE: THURSDAY, MAY 4th !!!!!

The Chatsworth PTA Safety Task Force with support from AAA, Westchester Bike Camp and the Larchmont Police Dept. would like to invite your child to participate in a Bike Safety Rodeo on the Chatsworth School blacktop from 3pm to 4:30pm on Thursday May 4th.

Your child will receive a safety check on their bicycle and helmet, and proceed through a circuit of mock safety stations.  Each little biker will learn valuable skills made fun – from ‘hand signals’ to ‘crazy crossroads’ to ‘demon driveways’.  Real life road safety skills to give you peace of mind as bicycle season and the summer months will soon be upon us.  Join us for bike tune-ups, helmet checks, and DJ Joe Tribuzio from MetroMusic spinning tunes to keep the energy up as the children work to complete each station.  Each participant will also be eligible to win prizes such as bike helmets and a grand prize – a brand new bicycle.

The Tour de Larchmont Bike Event is Saturday, May 6th at 2pm in Constituton Park with a bike ride beginning at 2:30 and is sponsored by the Village of Larchmont.
