Legislative Advocacy

The Mamaroneck-Larchmont Council of Parent-Teacher Associations (“PTC”) believes in the importance of promoting awareness of local, state and national education-related issues. Within this section of our website, we have posted and will continue to post advocacy materials received from the New York State and Westchester East Putnam Regional PTAs and include links to District, Board of Education and “education watchdog” websites. We encourage the community to ask questions, express opinions, discuss these topics and advocate where possible. We hope that you take the time to educate yourself and draw your own conclusions. When appropriate, sample letters and instructions will be posted for your convenience.

Education Reform is active in Albany, and each issue considered there directly affects our schools and our children. If you have any questions or concerns please contact our Legislation Representative, Gail Julie at ptcadvocacy@gmail.com.
